Stock clearance items

We have been having a good look at the stock on our shelves and we have recently discovered that a number of units have now been superceded by newer versions.

These units are all new, and unused.

Did you know that many of the manufacturers are now producing newsletters.

Whilst we do try to point out items that we feel may be of interest you could sign up for Newsletters direct.

Who produces them?

Comelit - 1st issue just out.

Videx, Urmet, Bitron Farfisa and Fermax as well as ACT all have Newsletters that appear at various intervals.

Golmar focus on IP

This year the main focus for Golmar will be their IP Video system.

iPlus technology was on show at IFSEC and has been received very favourably.

Our first order for a 2 panel 1 monitor system quickly turned into a 9 panel 4 monitor system!

Improved features on Golmar monitors.

The Szena monitor is now available in a version that can have multiple parallel monitors with the screen coming on at the same time.

Also the colour Platea monitor is now in with on screen information that shows the settings when you are adjusting the image controls.

Smarti from Tab Systems.

Safelink distribute Smarti.

Smarti from Tab systems was also on show at IFSEC.

This very versatile system is full of amazing features. Tab Systems have produced a short video clip to show off some of these.

The Smarti product is the only one that we know of at the moment that can be controlled via your IPhone or IPad!

Comelit withdraw IPower.

Just to keep you up to date - Comelit have withdrawn the IPower product for the time being. I am sure this is purely a temporary situation and we will let you know when it is back on the shelves.

In the meantime Comelit are launching a new panel range called IKall. As soon as the new brochures are available we will send you the link!.

ACT replace ACTPro3000.

ACT have decided to withdraw the ACTPro3000 controller and replace it with the ACTPro4000. It does everything the 3000 did and more.

15 June 2011: Dicontinuation Notice - ACT Net IF-4 Access Control Technology (ACT) has been informed that the ACT NET IF-4 is no longer being manufactured and as a result of this we will no longer be able to supply this item. The function of the ACT NET IF-4 was to network a large number of door controllers though a single RS232 serial interface but the hub mode in the ACTpro 4000 has already replaced the need for this product. ACT will continue to support any sites with the ACT NET IF-4 and will honour the warranty on all products.
