Giacomo Brunelli : The Animals
|
|

Exhibition closes Saturday 18th July Weds - Sat: 12 til 5pm - Free
This will be the final show in our current space before we recant back to our improved premises within Trongate 103. The exhibition includes a series of 34 images of animals taken by the artist during his daily morning walks when the light is best and his subjects are those randomly encountered along the way. The black and white images are printed by hand in a makeshift darkroom. The images are dramatic, powerful and intriguing, sometimes comic and occasionally tragic and offer a refreshing change in this age of digital technology.
You can view images from the exhibition and from the artists talk by clicking here. You can view a short film of the artist 'in conversation' by clicking here.

In this, a flat on the 11th floor of a tower block was turned into a large camera obscura. As well as special visits, a number of workshops took place with young people.
