Calling knitters, crocheters and embroiderists, veterans and newbies!

Bring your tools and projects to this Craft Happening #2 for a relaxing afternoon of making, sharing and meeting. The day will also have a craft sale, refreshments, and if you want to learn how to knit or embroider there will be artists to help!  There will be limited creche facilities from 12:30  - 4:30pm.

Got any unfinished knit projects that you'll just never get around to? Or any solo knitted mittens or socks with missing partners? Bring them along for the Knit 'N Hitch project and knit them to a quilt of other lonely mittens and socks! And your unfinished project will have a new ending by getting knitted with another unfinished project!

Mothers Of Purl creates a space for weaving traditional craft skills, notions of function and the crafted art object. The group knits together making, sharing skills and stories from its diverse experiences.

Mothers Of Purl is a womens knitting group established during the first year of Lindsay Perth's artist residency with Multi-story in North Glasgow. See the multi-story website for details.
