This day of events launches Mothers of Purl, a group established during the first year of Lindsay Perth's artist residency with Multi-Story in North Glasgow.

A full day of activities include a craft sale, an exhibition of photography by  a refugee women's group from Toryglen, mbira music from Tawona and Ernest Sithole, world food, poetry and fairy cakes!

provides a continuous and consistent programme of activity for artists and the public, by promoting the creative use of photomedia and by making artistic production accessible to a wide audience.

Since our establishment in 1989 by the Glasgow Photography Group we have delivered an artistically challenging programme of exhibitions, continued to increase the learning and expertise of artists through our training initiatives and engaged with communities in Scotland with an innovative series of education and outreach projects.
