Your child is learning new skills and improving old ones, too. Soccer Assessment Day is the time for the coaching staff to evaluate your child on what they have learned. Congratulations to all December 30th testers! One of our best tests yet! Cabrienne and Kayla, great board breaks! Our next test is on February 3rd, keep practicing!Our next Black Belt Club Seminar is our favorite, Board Breaking. It is on January 21st and is a seminar all should attend. The level one seminar will start at 12:30 and will cover board breaking basics such as proper breaking positions and technique. At the end of the seminar, everyone will have a chance to break a real wood board! The level 2 seminar starts at 1:30 and students who participate will get a chance to try several other breaks including the elbow smash.
Level 1 Seminar: $49.00 for basic members Free for BBC Members Level 2 Seminar: $20 for all participants (must attend level 1 to attend level 2)
Green Belts and Above! We have a special class call Mixed Discipline! It is a class for students who want to well round their self-defense skills. We teach boxing skills, basic wrestling and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Inquire with an instructor for a free trial in the class!
Don't forget about one of the coolest practice tools we have, the curriculum DVD! This dvd has all the curriculum a student needs from white to black belt on a professionally made instructional DVD. BBC members: $49. Basic Members $69.00

We are going to start working on speeches. Each child will be required to give a speech to the class on their favorite book. The speech needs to include the book title, what it is about, their favorite part of the book and if they think other people would like the book. They will be graded on effort, ideas and content, organization, language and delivery. This is homework for the weeks prior to their speech date.
