What a great Summer we are having!   We have explored sports, how plants grow, as well as art and the power of primary colors! We will continue our theme weeks in August as well as building on the beginning math and science concepts that we have this month!

Remember you can still sign up your preschooler for camp days before it's over! 

Camp Themes

Aug 1-5:  Circus, Circus! - Face painting, balloons, and circus fun!

Aug 8-12:  Surf's UP! - Jammin' Jewelry, ocean in a bottle, underwater exploration, and fishing!
Aug 15-19:  Monsters and Aliens - Stickers, moon sand, alien beadwork, and bubbles!
Aug 22-26:  Weird Science - Volcanoes, slime, quicksand, and shape shifting! 

Every Friday is Waterslide and Movie Day - Weather permitting! 

Summer Snack Exchange 
 

Thank you for all of you that brought snack for July!  Preschool tuition parents:  we are still doing our snack exchange. You receive a family open swim pass for your contribution!

Fall Preschool is filling up! 

Preschool classes are already about half full! Reserve your spot today to make sure you get the day and time that works best for your family!

Consider signing up for lunch as well for an extra hour from 11am-12pm, only $8.00/day - or one of our new Creative Arts Classes (see below).   We have 2 - 5 day per week options: 8am-11am or 12pm-3pm  

Preschool Open House 

Preschooler's open houses will be held Thursday, August 18th from 11:15am-12pm, or 5:00pm-6:00pm.  Bring your preschoolers to meet their teachers and explore the classroom! 

NEW! Preschool Creative Arts Classes! 

These new classes will consist of a variety of activities that will introduce young minds to music, art, and language. Sign up your preschooler for one of these special learning classes on their regularly scheduled preschool days. See the front desk to add your name! 

Our activity classes are at the following times: 7am-8am and 3pm-4pm

SUMMER CAMP

Let's make August the best camp ever!  Here are the weekly themes for the month of August: 

August 8th-12th

Dodge Ball week Bring it on! 

August 15th-19th

Holiday week; each day will be a different holiday to celebrate. We will have fun activities and crafts to go along with the holiday being celebrated, campers are encouraged to dress up too.

Monday - St. Patrick's Day

Tuesday - Halloween

Wednesday - Easter

Thursday - Thanksgiving

Friday - Christmas

August 22nd-26th

Space week, we will learn and explore the wonderful world of space. Campers please dress like space people and astronauts. Beam me up Scottie! 

August 29th-September 2nd

Americas Best Kid's Idol, now is your chance to show us how well you sing. So dust off those vocal cords and get ready to belt out some tunes. 

August Field trips:
Please sign up as early as possible for any of our feild trips they fill quickly. Our next feild trips will be:  

August 5th:

Wildlife Safari in Winston Oregon, we will be leaving by 9 a.m. for this feild trip and back by 3 p.m. Space is limited so sign your camper up soon to ensure a spot. 

August 26th:

Last feild trip of summer camp, Centeral Point waterpark. Please include sunblock . 

Remember:

Monday and Thursdays: We swim in the pool from 1:30-2:30 if your camper is 5 they must have a guardian in the pool area in order to swim.
Wednesday: Waterslide and movie day
Tuesday : Water activities outside and Minute to Win it games.
Friday: Floor games and water games outside.
 

Kindergarten Open House:
Wednesday August 31st 6p.m.-7p.m. in our classroom. Come check out the classroom and meet the teachers. We look forward to meeting our students and are excited for a new year of fun packed learning.
Our school now offers 2nd and 3rd grade and a new teacher for these grades. Lindsey is a great adition to our team and looks forward to meeting you and your child. Please come in and check out our program and feel free to talk with the teachers.
If you are already signed up for Kindergarten and would like to lend a hand, we will be having a classroom cleanup/ painting day Saturday August 27th. We will be doing some classroom reorganizing and could use some help and ideas. 

After School Care:
Sign up now for the 2011-2012 schoo year, last year tuesday-thursday filled up by the end of september.  Hoover transportation fills up fast so if you know you will need us, please sign up to ensure a spot.
