Greetings!
Spring Break is almost here. ABK has day camps for 3-5 year old and 6-12 year old children. Information is available on our website and also at the front desk. Special Spring Break Karate Camp - pick up a flyer at the front desk or from our website!
Regular class schedules during Spring Break for Gymnastics, Swimming, Dance, and Karate classes. No cheer classes during Spring Break.
Summer camp registration forms are available for all camps. Recreational Age Camp, Preschool Age Camp, and Specialty camps: Gymnastics; Karate; HipHop; and Jazz-Tapp-HipHop Combo Dance Camp. The registration/information forms can be found on our website under "Forms" and also at the front desk. Only 3 months until summer! A deposit can lock in your dates for summer camps.
Daylight Savings is on March 14th! Remember to "Spring Forward" your clocks 1 hour!! Three cheers for Daylight Savings Time!!

Fun, Fun, Fun - Arts and Crafts, Games, Dance and Gymnastics. Friday, March 26, 2010, is bring a buddy for free day! Campers and their buddies must have a camp registration form to participate. This camp is a wonderful test for summer camps to see how your child likes ABK Camp! Limited spaces - Pre-registration is required for all campers.

DIVE IN MOVIE - Free Willy
March 19, 2010 6:30-8:15pm
Price: $ 15/member or $20/non-member
Register early! The last Dive in Movie was sold out a week before the event! Children 5 years and younger must have a parent or guardian with them in the pool area at all times.
**No regular open swim on Friday, March 19th due to the Dive in Movie Event!!!
SWIM WITH CLOTHES WEEK
March 7-March 13 Please bring a pair of long pants and a shirt to wear over swim suits. We will be practicing real life saving skills for real life scenarios. All participants will receive a "Swim With Clothes" ribbon!!

 America's Best School and Child Care
ABK Jr. Kindergarten, Kindergarten, 1st Grade
Tuesday, March 2nd is Dr. Seuss Birthday. America's Best School is having a "Read in Day" to celebrate. Wear your PJ's, a funny hat or just sport some wild and crazy hair that day. Bring your favorite book and we'll be reading all day in class with a few Seuss activities sprinkled in!!!

Spring Break Karate Camp
March 22-26 9:00-3:00
Join your karate buddies for a full week of games, weapons, specialized training, and a movie night with a sleepover. For those closing in on their next belt testing, a week of camp is equivalent to fifteen classes. Possibly advancing you a little sooner. Camp is filling rapidly with a limited amount of space so register with your instructors as soon as possible. Spring camp cost is $249. "Black Belt Club" members cost is only $210!! **Extended care 7:30-9:00am and 3:00-6:00pm available. Check with the front desk staff for more information.
March "Black Belt Club" seminar is "Judo" on March 20th, a fun opportunity to learn some cool throws! Who wouldn't enjoy tossing their instructors around the floor for an hour? Level 2 seminar, only $20, will involve techniques that are bit more dynamic. (Dynamic defined as, "You smile more and we hit the floor harder!)
Ninja Camp - South Academy on Stewart
Saturday, April 3rd 3:00pm - Sunday, April 4th 9:00am
If you haven't experienced Ninja style fun, ask around. This is a fantastic over-night camp with games galore, special weapons, pizza and a karate movie. Bring your sleeping bags and pack for fun. There will be a female staff chaperone on site. Camp will be $79 and only $67 for Black Belt Club members. A limited space event. This camp sold out in two weeks last winter. Register with your instructor right away.
Karate Summer Camps June 21-25, July 19-23, Aug 16-20
It's not too soon to consider your summer karate camps. Discounts available for Black Club Members and also for enrolling in all three camps. Flyers available on our website and at the front desk!
Black Belt Test - Saturday, May 15, 2010
No matter where you are in your training, come witness these candidates complete their fantastic journey to Black Belt. It's an inspiring opportunity to re-affirm your commitment to becoming a Black Belt.
South Academy has long sleeve T's and hoodies coming off the shelves soon. We're taking an additional 10% off the prices. Grab them while you can. Summer stock will hit the shelves at the end of March.
We are in the final stages of completing our curriculum DVD. All of the information from white belt to your black belt test. A great tool to practice at home, keep your basic skills fine tuned as well as helping you maintain the curriculum as you begin to assist in class. Our budding hollywood starlette, Mr. O'Connor, weaves his way through all of our curriculum in a well defined manner at a great learning pace. Available at the end of March, the DVD will sell for $59, only $49 for Black Belt Club members. The first twenty to order and pre-pay for their DVD will have the opportunity to participate in a free action cam sparring clinic. Students will spar with instructors while the instructors wear recording gear on their helmets, allowing you, at the end of the clinic, to see what we see during your sparring.

Jr. Kindergarten, Kindergarten, 1st Grade and Afterschool Care.
Enrollment papers are available on our website or at the front desk. Non-refundable deposit will ensure your childs place at ABK: Preschool $30 (PS deposit is posted towards the materials fee for the year); Kindergarten $99; Jr. Kindergarten $49; After School Care $50 (ASC deposit is posted towards your first months tuition.)
