Dear Blue Door Association members and friends,   

REGARDING OUR VENUE PROGRAM FOR MEMBERS

For some time now we have been trying to develop venues around the County to show the art work of our members.

We are pleased to announce that in collaboration with the City of Yonkers we now have available for the use of our members a new art gallery in the Counsel Chamber of the City Council on the 4th floor of Yonkers City Hall.

To participate in this program, you must be a paid up member of Blue Door Artist Association. Please send us an email to letus know if you wish to be included. We will then put your name on the list of interested artists. We will keep the list in the number order that requests are received and will start by selecting artists from the top of the list. The list will be continual.

Further instructions will be sent to you when a space becomes available. There is no jury, but we will select from the images you send us. There will be no hanging fees or commissions.

Sales will be solely between you and the buyer. You will be expected to help with the installation and pick up of your artwork, and to provide a label to hang next to your art work giving its title, size, media, price, your name and contact information.

Remember that this opportunity only applies to paid-up members. If you are not now a paid up member, please go to our BDAA website at www.bluedoorart.org and click on the Join/Renew button, and then click on the Donate button, and pay the $40.00 membership dues.

On November 15th, Blue Door Gallery will be opening it's holiday gift shop. This is an opportunity for artists to sell and showcase works ranging from $2 to $200.     Artists have until October 20th to submit work they wish to sell at the gallery.

Nov 19th OPENING DAY & RECEPTION 2-5pm

Dec 30th Last day/ all work removed from BDG

HOW TO SUBMIT:  Please submit your work via email in

picture format with the each individual price for each

piece you wish to sell. If you wish to to you can also send

acceptance will be sent by October 27.

receipt of payment.
