All-MEDIA ARTISTS to submit a DEMONSTRATION AND EXHIBITION PROPOSAL  

The Blue Door Gallery, a not-for-profit exhibition and performance space, is a local resource. We are the only gallery in Downtown Yonkers, proving to be an educational and inspirational presence for our community. We showcase and support artists from the tri-state area and have become a destination for the wider audience exploring the arts and activities in the Yonkers Downtown Waterfront area.  The Blue Door Gallery is located at 13 Riverdale Avenue, just south of Main Street in Downtown Yonkers.

  BDG is revisiting the last two year's highly successful SHOW and TELL exhibitions with a new Show and Tell 3, scheduled from May 28 through June 25, 2011.

Blue Door Gallery is inviting proposals from artists working in all media.  Please send images of your work and tell us how you would explain or demonstrate your work/techniques/materials to the general public. Twelve to fifteen artists will be chosen for this unique opportunity to show their work in the beautiful Blue Door Gallery and also be present to illustrate their techniques to the public on one Saturday each during the five week exhibition.

The exhibition will run from May 28 thru June 25, 2011 (5 weeks)

Opening Reception:  May 28, 2010 at Noon to 1:30pm

Demonstrations begin at 1:30pm. Three exhibitors will give demonstrations and talks on each Saturday or Sunday from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
