 Blue Door Artist Association Annual Membership and  

Volunteer Registry Drive   

 

*Due to ongoing volunteer requirement fulfillment issues among members, attendees of our last meeting have voted that, as of March 2011, all new and existing members of the Blue Door Artist Association will be required to volunteer for a minimum of nine hours a year, and those who cannot meet our volunteer requirements may join as non co-operative members for an adjusted annual fee of $140.00.

- RESUME AND SKILL BUILDING: Gain valuable curatorial experience as well as create and develop community programs

Kathleen Benton's Work in The Sketchbook Project Tour

The Sketchbook Project Tour, created by Art House Co-op, will include Kathleen Benton's book entitled "Lights in the Distance: Italy & France".  The tour will visit the nine cities listed below.  After the tour Benton's sketchbook will become a part of the permanent collection of the Brooklyn Art Library.

Kaya's work has been exhibited throughout New York, Philadelphia and Florida.  

As of February 2011 her sculpture "Drifting" will be part of the collection of the

Hecht Museum at Haifa University in Israel.
