Inspired by Heritage
Curator - Celeste Walls
Mt. Vernon Library
28 South First Avenue
Mt. Vernon, NY 10550
Inspired By Heritage showcases our diverse community, creating a visual story of the importance of culture in our lives. Artists illustrate symbolic imagery and artifacts that showcase the journey of one's past history and future vision.
The art demonstrates the values and traditions we embrace in ourselves as well as the legacy that thrives in us for generations. The artwork brings about an awareness of ethnicity that might not have been experienced otherwise.
The exhibit will close on January 15th. | |
