Email Marketing's Value
You are cordially invited to visit my new web page about the value of e-news and email marketing.  There's a PDF file attached that you can print out for reference.

And, here's a heads up:  plan to participate this fall in my complimentary teleseminar on email marketing. You'll learn the fundamentals, from building quality lists and writing effective content, to getting your email delivered and read.

If you're already using email for reaching your audience, this will be a good refresher course, and at no charge. I'll keep you posted on date and time, and how to sign up.  In the meantime, send me an email if you'd like to know more.

Of course, hard copy newsletters are still very useful tools for building your audience.  You might find it helpful to take a look at a home health for seniors newsletter I completed this spring for a client.

It's a good example of a newsletter designed to serve as a useful reference tool for families and clinical people, full of information they'll want to keep at hand.  Newsletters come in all shapes and sizes--contact me if you'd like to know more.

Pens, Ink, & Business

Allegra Goodman's recent column in the Boston Globe addresses the use of fountain pens. "Writing in ink," she says, "doesn't feel like work; it feels like secret diaries and treasure maps and art."

Let's face facts, though.  You and I, both, are not writing fiction, at least not on company time (are we?).  Still, there can be a lightness of being about writing, even when it's just business.  So, there may be room for that flowing ink after all.

See you after Labor Day!
