NEW! Non Contact - Magnetic Rotary Encoder MNI40
For Continuous Use Under Harsh Conditions

The new MNI40 magnetic incremental rotary encoder from Pepperl+Fuchs combines an extraordinary robust measuring system with intelligent assistance functions in an extremely compact unit. The MNI40 is unaffected by ambient conditions and works reliably in dirty, dusty, or wet environments. Simple installation and adjustment of the sensor using a two-color LED status indicator considerably reduce installation time.

 P+F MNI40

Due to the zero-contact connection of the sensor and the magnetic wheel, the MNI40 magnetic incremental rotary encoder has no ball bearings. This guarantees a long service life even at high rotational speeds up to 30,000 rpm. Ideal for applications on Mobile and Transportation equipment, mechanical handing and Industrial Automation.

Honeywell Dead Reckoning Module

HW DRM4000

Honeywell DRM®4000 Dead Reckoning Module provides accurate position information for first responders and other people on foot in places that the global positioning system (GPS) is unable to reach. The small, easy-to-integrate unit contains ten sensors including three gyros, accelerometers and magnetometers as well a barometric altimeter to accurately deliver position location. The DRM®4000 uses patented motion classification algorithms to analyze walking motion and compensate for unique user kinematics. The DRM®4000 contains an internal Kalman filter for integrating onboard sensors and external GPS data. It nominally provides position data that is accurate to within 2% of the actual distance traveled by a user in environments without GPS. The unit can be directly interfaced to many GPS receivers and man-pack computers and includes capabilities for accurate field calibration.

Pepperl+Fuchs - Sensors for Mobile Equipment Applications

"Technology on the Move"
P+F Mobile

The need for Dependability
In Mobile Equipment applications, dependability is of the utmost importance. If a locking pin isn't secured, a hatch mistakenly swings open, or a lift isn't completely stored, it needs to be identified immediately. Along the same lines, poorly designed sensors that alert controllers to nonexistent problems cannot only be annoying, but costly and unsafe. Unparalleled design reliability and flawless performance is mandatory.

With over 20 years of industry experience built into every design, Pepperl+Fuchs' Mobile Equipment inductive sensors are installed with confidence worldwide on

 · Busses                  · Refuse trucks              · Concrete mixers
 · Dump trucks           · Harvesters                  · Excavators
 · Cranes                   · Mowing equipment       ·  Fire trucks              ...and more!

Outstanding Environmental Performances
Unlike sensors installed on the comparatively pristine environment of a factory floor, sensors for Mobile Equipment must survive an elevated level of abuse. Scorching heat, freezing rain, exposure to greases, oils and fuels, mechanical shock and vibration, road salt and high-pressure wash downs are just a few of the daily challenges these sensors must endure.

Performance Features
Features that separate the Mobile Equipment' product family from the traditional proximity sensor include:

 · Qualification to Mobile Equipment-specific ISO and SAE standards
 · Extended sensing ranges-up to 2X farther than traditional models
 · "Load Dump" (alternator discharge) protection
 · -40 °F to +185 °F operational temperature
 · Heavy-duty 18 AWG cable with cut-proof, chemically-resistant polyurethane jacket
 · Compatibility with Deutsch, Weatherpack (Delphi), and Tyco (AMP) connectors

Honeywell Cable Pull Safety Switch

The 1CPSA1 Cable Pull Safety Switch is intended for use in applications with the cable runs up to 76 m [250 ft], such as conveyor runs within defined system zones. It is a cost-effective means of providing this emergency stop signal compared to multiple emergency stop push buttons. (Cable Pull Safety Switches are not, however, to be used as a means of personnel safeguarding. They may be used to prevent further injury or damage to equipment when used for emergency stop signalling.)

The 1CPSA1 Cable Pull Safety Switch is designed to provide emergency stop protection for exposed conveyor lines. The internal mechanism latches on both slackened cable (push) and pulled cable. This capability enhances productivity by eliminating nuisance stops due to variations in temperature, stretch of cable over time, and other application variables.

The 1CPSA1 complies with: Low Voltage Directive 73/23/EEC, as amended by directive 93/68/EEC; Machinery Directive 98/37/EEC only as the directives relate to the components being used in a safety function; IEC/EN60947-1; IEC/EN60947-5-1; IEC/EN60947-5-5.

Honeywell Barometers and Barometric Pressure Sensors

Honeywell Barometer

Honeywell barometers and barometric pressure sensors are used to measure barometric pressure in a wide variety of meteorological and aerospace applications such as manned and unmanned vehicles, ocean data buoys, remote meteorological stations, airborne measurements and weather balloons.

The Honeywell Precision Barometer (HPB) offers outstanding value to instrument builders requiring accurate (±0.03% FS maximum over -40 to 85°C) and stable barometric measurements in real-world conditions. The HPB uses proven silicon sensor technology with microprocessor-based signal compensation, eliminating the need to insulate or temperature-regulate the barometer. The HPB has a pressure range of 500 to 1200 hPa. The HPA is available in RS232, RS485, and TTC outputs.

The Honeywell Pressure Altimeter (HPA) is used in altimeter applications and provides high accuracy ±0.03% FS maximum over -40 to 85°C absolute pressure reading in digital form. The first-time user will be able to use the HPA within minutes, yet capability exists to configure the HPA for optimum performance for aerospace and airborne applications. The HPA is available in RS232, RS485, and TTC outputs
