| E-T-A Receives CSA Approval on New Circuit Protector |

The ESX10-T provides electronic circuit protection of 24 VDC loads in Industrial and Process Automation.
Question: Why?
Short circuit in a DC24V load circuit:
1.) Voltage dip when protected with branch protectors (MCBs), as the DC24V switch-mode
power supply responds faster and reduces or disconnects the voltage.
2.) STABLE 24V CONTROL VOLTAGE WITH ESX10-T
The Solution:
ESX10-T = Electronic protection of DC 24 V circuits against overload and short circuit = Restore selectivity with electronic trip curve, reliable protection even with high cable attenuation.
E-T-A achieve this by:
- Active short circuit current limitation depending on current rating, e.g. 1.8 x IN
- Short circuit disconnection from approx. 100ms
- Overload disconnection from 1.1 x IN after 3 s
Technical Data:
- Rated voltage 24 V DC (18...32 V)
- Current ratings (nine fixed ratings)
- 0.5 A, 1 A, 2 A, 3 A, 4 A, 6 A, 8 A, 10 A, 12 A
- One trip curve for all types of loads: lamp loads, inductive loads, DC24V motors, capacitative loads up to 20,000 µF
- One multifunctional LED: Green = OK, Yellow = over current detected, Red = over current disconnected

P+F Rotary Encoders for Space Limited Applications |

Rotary encoders are used to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently. They enable communication between machinery (performing the task) and the software used to control those tasks. These devices translate motion into position and/or velocity feedback that is crucial in executing a task correctly. In particular, the T-line 40mm Series has seen a rise in demand for printing applications. It's compact (40mm diameter) design allows these encoders to be located in very tight spaces.
T-Line 40 mm Series Features Include:
- Compact 40 mm (1.57") diameter housing for tight installations
- Output resolution up to 1,024 ppr (typ. 100, 200, 500, 1000, or 1024)
- Integral 2-meter cable as standard
- IP54-rated housing
- 4.75 to 30 VDC supply voltage
The T-line 40 mm Series consists of the TV140, THI40 and TSI40.
These Compact 40 mm diameter encoders are designed to fit the needs of the most light- to medium-duty low-cost applications. The TVI40 is a solid shaft version, the THI40 is a hollow shaft (full bore) version, and the TSI40 is a recessed hollow shaft version.
A unique feature of the THI40 and TSI40 is the new tangential cable outlet, designed by Pepperl+Fuchs, that enables the user to lay the cable radially or axially.
