Hub Area Habitat for Humanity is thankful for many blessings and looks forward to a productive spring and summer building season!  Numerous volunteer oppoortuinities are available to assist with this

Partner Family Selected

house and hammerJessica Schmieg and family have been selected as the partner family for Home 11. Jessica a single mother of two young children; lives in Aberdeen and is employed at Banner Engineering. 
 
Jessica is excited for the upcoming home build. She is looking forward to the joys and benefits of homeownership.

Welcome New Board Members!

Three new board members have joined the Hub Area Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors:  Sister Pam Donelan, Jim Dobbs,  Darrell Sorensen.  The new members join the current board members in fulfilling the mission and goals of Habitat for Humanity in building safe and affordable homes for families in need.
 
The additional directors and officers for 2009-2010 include:
Fred Rist President, Jeff Scheel Vice President, Mark Engelhart Treasurer, Lori Salfrank Secretary, Sid Gonsor, Richard Holland, Mark Marion, Matt Prehn, Jody Ramsay, Tammy Winter, and Dr. Dick Ward.


Construction Committee

The construction committee members are diligently working to select an affordable home plan.

Mike Jung, Mark Marion, Sid Gonsor, and Mark Wolf.

Volunteer Committee

The volunteer committee members will be identifying volunteers to Help Build Home 11.    Building on Faith                
                                                 
Volunteers are needed:                       

     To pray for this Christian ministry
     Provide and serve meals
     Help with construction
     Serve on a committee 
 
Churches, businesses, groups and volunteers are encouraged to join the mission to serve Habitat. To volunteer, complete the volunteer application at Volunteer page; email Hub Area HFH or call 226-5492.
