PHC Volunteer Update
April 2010
Anna Amici
Greetings!

This week, April 18 - 24, is National Volunteer Week. The entire staff at PHC would like to take this opportunity to thank every one of our wonderful volunteers who give so unselfishly of their time.

Here's one way you contribute to our mission:
At a recent meeting of the Patient Advisory Group, Americorps volunteer Claudia Boulter asked patients to fill out a survey about the Clinic's operations and services.  We were delighted, though not surprised, that our volunteers and Clinic staff received high praise for the courtesy, respect and care you all give our patients.

This survey, as you have perhaps already seen, is now being conducted with all returning patients at the end of their visits.  We're looking forward to the results - to help us improve the care that, together, we give our community.  Thanks for what you do each week!

PC Cocktail Contest Was a Hit! Thanks, Volunteers!!

Coctail Contest - 5 Volunteers

A dozen fun-loving volunteers at Wahso on April 8 sold raffle tickets, checked IDs, while eating their fair share of potstickers and wings.
We all enjoyed watching the competition as bartenders battled to have their cocktail named "Park City Signature Cocktail 2010".  The Aai Sour by Eddie Schneckloth at The Sky Lodge prevailed, and the event raised $1,800 for Clinic operations. We love the PC Restaurant Association and their support of community health!
