Welcome Back!
Greetings!

A new school term has begun, and hopefully is off to a great start. I hope your holidays were relaxing and rejuvenating, and you are ready for the spring. This newsletter will be shared quarterly to give you updates about the latest trends in hazing prevention, and ways you can get involved. If you know of others who would like to receive it, please use the forward button below to share it with them. If you are not interested in this information, there is an opt-out button as well.

Please let us know what kind of content you would be most interested in and we will do our best to meet your needs. You can also go here to report what you are doing on your campus to help us further best practices.

Thanks for taking a few minutes to learn what you can do to support hazing prevention on your campus!
Calling All Governing Councils:
IFC, PH, NPHC & MGCs
HazingPrevention.orgThis year, for the first time, we are offering an opportunity for Greek Governing Councils to step up and take the lead in addressing hazing on campus. By signing on as a sponsor of NHPW 2008, councils will receive copies of the NHPW Resource Guide for all of their member chapters as well as recognition on our website and a banner on the HazingPrevention.Org booth at conferences.  Go here to download the sponsorship form and get more information.
Ways to Support
HazingPrevention.orgThere are many ways to get involved with hazing prevention efforts - you can serve on a committee, sign up to be a facilitator, or attend one of our summer training sessions.

Support Hazing Prevention Efforts by:

·  Becoming a sponsor - national organizations, corporations or governing councils
·  Attending a summer training session or offer a scholarship for someone else to attend
·  Observing National Hazing Prevention Week (kits mailed to sponsors in April to help with planning)
·  Sanctioning for hazing violations with fines paid directly to HazingPrevention.Org
·  Participating in the 4th Annual National Hazing Symposium at the AFA Annual Meeting
·  Volunteering to serve on a committee, be a facilitator, or write an article for this newsletter
·  Sharing your efforts with us so we can publicize them and further best-practices
·  Making a personal donation - we are a 501(c)(3) organization, so there are tax benefits
·  Writing an article for this newsletter or the NHPW resource guide
·  Holding a fundraiser during Greek Week, NHPW or another campus event

To sign up for a committee, or get more information, email info@hazingprevention.org
Have a fantastic and relaxing holiday season!

Sincerely,
