DPC Welcomes Center Stage Music and Events!
Destination Planning Corporation and Center Stage Music and Events, Inc. Join Forces and Pay Tribute to a Jacksonville Hospitality Pioneer
Jacksonville, Florida - Destination Planning Corporation acquired certain assets of Center Stage Music and Events, Inc. in an agreement finalized on November 28, 2010. The acquisition brings together two established and trusted Jacksonville-based companies.
This acquisition culminated after the recent passing of James McBride, a well respected Jacksonville hospitality pioneer. As a tribute to the legacy of Mr. McBride, Destination Planning Corporation is establishing a scholarship fund in his name that will provide financial assistance to deserving students interested in pursuing the hospitality industry.
The McBride family appreciates this fitting tribute to James McBride, as his son remarked, "Growing up in the McBride home instilled a sense of entrepreneurship in me from an early age. This scholarship fund along with joining forces with Destination Planning not only honors my father's legacy of 24 years of hard work, but it also recognizes his dream of reaching the next level of success. My vision with this partnership is that the reputation and achievements of Jim McBride will live on after his passing."
Destination Planning Corporation is a destination management company (DMC) that provides services in the areas of décor and themed events, activities and team building, transportation management and conference management. Destination Planning Corporation partners with hotels and event venues in Florida to provide flexible and tailored event services.
Center Stage Music and Events, Inc. has been a full-service events company that specialized in entertainment and themed events. Best known for its casino services, Center Stage has North Florida's largest inventories of casino tables and gaming equipment.
Since the acquisition, Center Stage Music and Events, Inc. shall be operating as Centerstage Entertainment and Events, Inc. It will operate independently from Destination Planning Corporation to preserve its unique branding and dedicated clientele.

With the additional resources of Center Stage, including North Florida's largest casino and gaming equipment inventory behind it and its dedicated personnel, Centerstage Entertainment and Events will continue to exceed every customer's expectation."
Destination Planning Corporation is retaining all Center Stage Music and Events staff, who will now all be operating from Destination Planning Corporation's main office in Jacksonville, Florida.
