SDT DANGLES "FREE RECYCLING" CARROT-not free
An email has been circulating asking residents to sign up via email if they are interested in a free recycling program through SDT. This is NOT a free service. The monthly fee is $18 and requires a 3 year contract.
Recycling services have been available to the Lake Area for over a year now through Phoenix Recycling whose monthly fee is only $15 and DOES NOT require a contract of any kind to subscribe. If you are looking for a recycling program we recommend Phoenix Recycling which is already available in your area. To enroll email phoenix.recycling@gmail.com or call 504-322-7551. They bill quarterly and accept credit cards payments through PayPal.
