We want to thank you for being a part of Mosaic Vision Ministries and ask that you pray with us for all the AIDS orphans of Africa.
Above all, we are ensuring that our orphans know that Jesus Christ is the son of God that takes away the sin of the world and that they have an eternal Father waiting for them in heaven that is with them to the end of time.
We need your help ministering to these little ones through donations, sponsorship, and volunteering time.

God Bless you!

2010 April Mosaic Vision kids 2009 in Review

2009 was a year of growth for Mosaic Vision. We now have 138 orphans on our program. We have 5 graduates from the program and now 2 of our orphans have qualified for college. We have implemented an effective health program and also a micro enterprise program for those finishing up high school. We have added an agricultural program to help kids and their caregivers grow more nutritious food and we have also started a program of planting chili's to sell for family income. We have finished building and equipped the operating theater in Rukungiri. Whew. What a year! 2010 promised to be equally as exciting, as we follow the will of the Lord for Mosaic Vision.

If you are currently a Mosaic Vision sponsor, you will be receiving a personal update on your sponsored orphan or orphan families this month, May of 2010. The updates on the kids are so encouraging, as you are making a life and eternal impact in the lives of the orphans that we serve.
caroline Welcome Deborah and Caroline to the Mosaic Vision staff in Uganda

We have been blessed to have long tenure with our staff in Rukungiri. Martin Dumbazi has now been leading the ministry for over 3 years. Grace and Joan were his associate coordinators for nearly the same length of time. We were sad to see them both leave us, but we sent them off with our blessing as they were both getting married!

(Caroline - our newest staff member)

The Lord has been so kind in bringing us two amazing new staff members with a lot of experience and passion for helping orphans. Caroline Ampumeza is 27 and is married with a 2 month old son of her own. Ainebyona Deborah is 24 years old and understands the struggles our orphans live with, as she has experienced some of the same struggles. Both of these women are born again Christians who love the Lord and want to serve the orphans of Mosaic Vision. They are answers to all of our prayers and we are happy to welcome them!!

 Blessings Upon Blessings
We have been blessed with a donation from one of our Mosaic donors that sponsors 9 orphans and 1 of our college students. They have generously donated funds to enable us to purchase a vehicle for the ministry. This is an answer to a five year prayer. Our kids are deep in the villages and we need to be able to get to them day or night. This vehicle will also serve as transport to the operating theater for those in the community that need it. We will be able to be much more effective in caring for our orphans. Our staff up to now travel by hired motorcycle, which is dangerous for them. We are in the process of looking to secure the best vehicle ask that you pray that the Lord leads us to the one that is best for the ministry.

2010 April Mosaic Vision kids 2010 - Sponsors needed
As of right now we have 38 orphans without a sponsor. The connection that a sponsor makes to a child who has been orphaned is life saving. They begin to realize they are loved, for the first time in a long time. We also have 6 caregivers now. These are widows who we hire to live with the orphans and help them restore a family like atmosphere. We are looking to hire 24 more caregivers for the rest of our families. Both orphan sponsorship and widow caregiver sponsorship is $45 per month. This covers all the needs, educational, spiritual, health, home, and physical.   The goal is to help these orphans become self sufficient, productive, healthy and happy Christian adults. This is a big job and we need your help to minister to these little ones the love and saving grace of Jesus Christ. If you are feeling led to help an orphan or a widow, please email me directly at shannon@mosaicvision.org

I will send you a sponsorship form and you can get started right away.
