Are You Going to NYIGF
The CRAFT booth at NYIGF is covered all five days by one person. By contract with the show, the booth must be manned at all times. This makes it difficult to take a break, get lunch or work the floor for CRAFT. We could use some help. Can you relieve Karen so she can get lunch? Could you take a turn for a morning or afternoon at the booth? Anything you can volunteer to do would be fabulous. Reply to Karen Hohler at kshohler@gmail.com or 617-571-5267.
Also...if you are doing the show would you stop at the booth and pick up a couple of brochures? Talk to people you know and ask them to join CRAFT. Ask them if they are signed up to participate in American Craft Week. We must be our own best ambassadors!

Letter to BMAC
You probably got contacted in the last month about your opinion of moving the February Buyer's Market to the third week of January. The board of CRAFT discussed this and sent a letter to BMAC explaining why this would not be a good option for artists, retailers or the wholesale show promoters. The choice to do this and the wording of the letter had unanimous support of the board. Thank you to the members who contacted us and asked that we contact BMAC.

Do You Use Constant Contact? With the ongoing economic challenges, artists and stores have closed, budgets have been tightened. CRAFT is impacted just as any other business. We are asking for your help. When you use Constant Contact through the CRAFT program, you get savings of up to 25% over the regular cost plus CRAFT receives a small percentage from every amount a member spends. This tiny amount from each member in the aggregate makes a big difference to CRAFT's small budget.
Do you use Constant Contact and believe you are in the CRAFT member program? Maybe not! If not, you are not saving money!
Here's how you can tell and what you should do: If you are already using Contant Contact, at the bottom of a newsletter you have sent out, you will see a Constant Contact logo like the one above. Just click on it. That should take you to the Constant Contact home page. If you are a Business Partner, at the top of the page, next to the Constant Contact logo, you should see the CRAFT logo, like this: If you don't see the CRAFT logo, contact Laurie Wickham at info@craftonline.org or (305) 664-3650 to get signed up.
If you are not using Constant Contact and would like to sign up for a free 60 day trial, please use this link to sign up: http://www.constantcontact.com/index.jsp?ls=extra3&pn=craftonline
Take a couple minutes to do this. You will save and help CRAFT at the same time.
