Networking at ACRE Orlando
One of the best opportunities to be gained through CRAFT is the ability to network with peers.  The exchange of ideas that happens is invaluable.  Take advantage:

1.  Stop at the CRAFT booth.  We have a lounge area for you to sit, talk, work.
2.  Look for the designated CRAFT Member Networking Table in the lunch area.  Let other members know about the great artists you have found.  Share ideas.  Or just relax and chat.
3.  Participate in Lunch and Learns.  Bring your lunch for an hour of talk.  See your program for topic details.
4.  Come to dinner on Sunday evening, 7 PM with other CRAFT members.  Relax, meet other members.  Interested?  For more details contact Karen Hohler at kshohler@gmail.com.

Help Spread the Word about CRAFT

Stop at the CRAFT booth at ACRE and pick up a couple of membership packets.  When you are walking the show help build CRAFT by recommending it to other artists and retailers.

Restaurants in Orlando

We have a few recommendations for restaurants in Orlando - places members have enjoyed in the past.  If you have more suggestions contact rani@randomactsart.com and she will post them in next week's It's Friday.

Mexican - Tu Tu Tango, 8625 International Drive  407-248-2222

Brazillian - Camilla, 5458 International Drive  407-354-2507

Greek - Taverna Opa, 9101 International Drive  407-351-8660

Thai - this may seem strange...but there is a wonderful, very inexpensive Thai stir fry cafe next to the Whole Foods at 8003 Turkey Lake Road.  Wish I could remember the name!!

Supporting CRAFT!

Thanks everyone who volunteered last week to help with the Social Media Marketing/Web Site Committee!  Randi Chervitz of Uncommon Threads will be chairing the committee.  They will be having their first teleconference meeting before the BMAC show in Philly.  Members include Anna Stange of Heart of the Home, Matt Shapiro of Shapiro Gallery, Janet Francoeur of Carolina Collections, Laurie Wickham of Gallery Morada and Rani Richardson of Random Acts of Art.

New Opportunities
The Membership Committee works to recruit members for CRAFT.  This year's goal is to reach out in new ways to those retailers and artists who may not yet know about CRAFT.  They will coordinate with the work that the SMM/Web Site Committee is doing.  We could use your help!
