CRAFT Artist Members Phone Chat
We would like to invite all CRAFT artist members to join us for a phone get-together on Sunday, November 13.
Many of us are busy working in our studios or at shows (not to mention having a life outside the studio) and never have a chance to just pause and talk with fellow artists. Sure, there are discussion groups where specific topics can be brought up and addressed asynchronously. But how about random conversation? Consider this a chance to meet with your friends at a virtual coffeehouse.
This is your opportunity to talk about the business of being an artist today, ask questions of your colleagues, compare experiences, ask for or provide solutions, or just let the conversation flow (how 'bout them Yankees!).
Here's an agenda for our first chat: - Is a periodic phone get-together like this of interest to you?
- How often and when should we have them?
- Anything else you want to talk about.
So please join us:

Email Marketing Is Not Dead: Creating Content Article by Monika Jansen, Grow Smart Biz
Nope, email marketing is not dead; in fact it is still quite relevant, as it is the only way to get in front of your current and prospective clients on a regular basis.
The reason: Your messages on social media platforms can easily get lost in the noise. Will your target market see your tweet, status update in their Facebook news feed, or latest blog post in whatever eReader program they use to keep their reading organized? The great thing about an email boils down to this: Your prospects and customers will have to at least glance at the subject line before deciding whether to read or delete it.
In this three-part series on email marketing, we have looked at putting together a strategy (that was part 1) and building and maintaining a list ( part 2). In this final post, we are looking at how to create engaging content that your target market will read and appreciate. To read the rest of the article, CLICK HERE.
