ACW Website = Free Press for My Gallery

I was contacted by a reporter from a neighboring county's newspaper wanting to do a feature article on my gallery for their weekly magazine. Not only does that county have a much larger population than my own, their paper is also distributed here. The weekly magazine is included in the paper on Fridays, available for free at many newsstands, distributed to upscale hotels in 3 counties and direct mailed to upper income homes in both our counties.

 

I'm thrilled with the press coverage but, since they usually focus on stores & restaurants in their area, I was curious as to how they found me. It turns out that the reporter found me because of ABC News & the American Craft Week website. The ABC News reports about Made in America intrigued the reporter. While doing some research on line, she found the ACW website. She found my gallery on the Participants page, the only participant listed in our area. That led her to my website & finally into the store for the interview and photos.
