CERF+ Calling for Artist-Made Valentines!
 

At a moment in history when both things made by hand and letter writing are quickly becoming lost arts, CERF+ (Craft Emergency Relief Fund + Artists' Emergency Resources) is planning to bring them back with a Valentines-making event.   On February 5, at the monthly indoor Capital City Farmers Market in Montpelier, VT, and again on February 11 at the downtown art supply store, the Drawing Board, local artists will make valentines as well as assist visitors in creating their own.  CERF+ will also be selling artist-made valentines from all over the United States as a fundraiser. That's where you come in!

If you are interested in lending a hand by donating a Valentine to CERF+  just send one or more blank valentines of any size, shape or material to CERF+ (PO Box 838, Montpelier, VT 05601).  They will need to arrive at CERF+ no later than February 4 for the first event and by February 10^th for the second.  We will then make all valentines collected available for sale.  We hope you can spare a few moments to express the concept of love in whatever medium you like.  Many thanks!
