T3 Teleconference
One of the best parts of being a member of CRAFT is the ability to network with peers.We host free monthly teleconferences during which any member of CRAFT can call in and talk.

I received this from the SCORE chapter that I volunteer with.  I know nothing about them, but others in the chapter said that they had had experience with them.  It might be worth while passing along the info.

Call For Booth Numbers
 
Before major shows we put out a list of CRAFT members exhibiting at that show. If you are going to be exhibiting at the summer NYIGF or BMAC, please emailrani@randomactsart.com with the show name and your booth number. If you will be offering any show specials, we are happy to include that information.
 
Booth numbers for NYIGF must be received by Wednesday, August 11. Booth numbers for BMAC must be received by Wednesday, August 18.
 
Not Exhibiting at the Summer Shows?
We are always happy to spotlight a CRAFT artist member  in It's Friday. If you are interested in being spotlighted email rani@randomactsart.com with up to two paragraphs about you, your studio & your artwork. Please include links to your website or Wholesalecrafts page and up to two pictures to be included. You can send the pictures as attachments or just send links to the pictures on your website.
 
Artist will be spotlighted, one per week, on a first come, first serve basis. You can check out this past newsletterfor an example of an artist spotlight.
 
 
American Craft Week Updates
 
NEW WEBSITE
The new American Craft Week website is in the final stages and is expected to go live some time next week. The new site will have a place to list any events you are having and have the ability to link to a second "American Craft Week" page on your website (if you have one). We stopped updating participants on the old site this week, so if you've sent a request recently, it will not show up until the new site goes live. 
 
PHOTO REQUEST
We need photographs for the American Craft Week web site and brochures. Any photographs used on the web site will be a hotlink to the artist or gallery web site.
 
From artist, we need photographs of you, your work, you at work or show booths. From galleries, we need photographs of your store, people shopping in your store and store displays.
 
Please send high resolution images to submissions@americancraftweek.com.
