 American Craft Week
Work on American Craft Week has been fast and furious since our kick off at BMAC in Philadelphia. Diane Sulg and Ann Pifer have been working daily to complete plans and materials for you to use in your own planning and activities. Watch for those soon.
Jean Thompson of Rosen Group is helping with publicity. Did you see that her press release and blog post about the announcement of ACW got picked up and reprinted nationally by The Bloomberg Report!
ACC printed a full page ad in the back of their program book at the Baltimore show.
Our American Craft Week participation page is growing daily. Are you on it yet?? We would like to see every member of CRAFT listed. Don't worry if you do not know what to do yet, get your name on there. American Craft Week Participants To get on the list, email your Gallery/Studio name, city, state and web address to
Next week we will start posting our Wish List in It's Friday. Translate that as - "I wish we had someone who could do this!' We need lots of help, with lots of people doing liitle jobs and big jobs. If you can help...WE NEED YOU! Watch for something that fits your time and talents. |
Bank of America Teleconference Review
We had a lively teleconference on Wednesday and lots of basic questions answered. This is a link to the VISA interchange rate schedule. This is what VISA charges everyone for the use of their card. BofA only charges 20 cents on top of that. Look at lines 24, 36, 50 and 51 (cards not present), and 115 (international). That's where most of our cards come from. Add 20 cents to what's listed and compare with your current rates. There is a one time $25 fee for programming, no monthly fees, no report fees, NO FEES.
If you did not get a chance to come on the call or had to leave early and are still interested, call Edith Ransom at 410-437-2039. Tell her you are from CRAFT. She will have you fax 3 or 4 months of your current statements: 904-312-5582.
Any comments or questions for CRAFT, use my number below.
