Artists! Three Publicity Opportunities!
At BMAC, February in Philly for participating artists.
1. BMAC has decided not to schedule Table Topics this year. So we are moving Table Topics to our educational booth on the show floor. We are making them FREE and short - 30 minute power topics. (There will be artist related topics scheduled at 9 AM so you can participate!). The point is...that booth will be livelier and lots of buyers will be stopping by. Would you be interested in creating a small display of your work at this booth? We will provide a sign that tells people who you are and where they can find you. You will have to provide a display case and create the display. You will also need to think about the fact that the booth will not be manned at all times or overnight.
2. Do you have cards or pamphlets that you would like us to put in the two CRAFT booths for buyers to pick up?
3. Replacing Table Topics on the BMAC Show Schedule is the CRAFT Design Challenge, co-sponsored with BMAC. The booth will be on the Concourse next to the CRAFT Booth. Store and studio owners sign up to create a display in 10 minutes using props and craft work provided. Each display will be photographed and a panel of judges will choose the winners - 9 in all. You have two ways to publicize yourself:
a. Let us borrow a piece of your work to be used during the Design Challenge. We will put a sign with your booth number in the Challenge booth.
b. There will be prizes for the displays juried to be the best. Would you be interested in providing "Artist Script"? This can be any amount of your choosing but I would suggest nothing less than $50. The winners of the challenge can use your script to discount a wholesale order from you at your booth. You can set the rules on the use of the script...for example, for a wholesale order only of at least $275.
