As the first hot spell of the summer passes through, and all of us at the Center get ready for the 2010 four-part Summer Workshop Series, a closer look at "What's Going On?" simply makes sense...and right now! Your own life is as far as you have to look to see how personally relevant and impacting the global change-wave has been. Indeed, for many of us, what we valued, what we held to be true and what we counted on to keep us safe is being shaken and stirred like a James Bond martini! Our lives are being altered in unexpected and often irreversible ways by a crisis in consciousness. The future we imagined seems less certain or well-defined than it once did, making it a challenge to see the good news -- the proverbial silver lining -- hidden within the unrest and upheaval.

What's true (though admittedly sometimes hard to see) is that we are living in a time of extraordinary opportunity! Discovering our good fortune amidst the changes, great and small, is at the heart of the "What's Going On?" workshop. We'll take a look at the beliefs and assumptions that defined and confined our lives in the past, allowing us to clearly see what we're attached to and where we've been holding on. We'll look for the area in our lives where letting go is happening and necessary...whether we feel ready or not! At the end, we'll focus on the new, creative, life-changing ideas and inspirations guiding each of us to where we belong and the life we were meant to live.
