This is a tough announcement to make - The Beadles, the most fabulous bead shop in the whole wide world is for sale.

 

My dear husband, David, was laid off February 1st and there really aren't many job opportunities for him in Oklahoma - even during the best of times. He has been offered (and has accepted) a position at Arizona State University which is located in Tempe. As much as I'd like to say, "you can come home on weekends," that really isn't an option. So it's off to Tempe we go.  He needs to be there no later than July 1.

 

I get to stay behind to get the shop taken care of and to sell our house. In a perfect world, all of this would be completed by mid-June. But, hey, in a perfect world, we'd be staying here!

 

As for the shop, I really want to have it stay open. We have a strong client basis, fantastic employees, outstanding inventory. The operation is basically turn-key - ready for the new owner to take over with minimal disruption.
