Season's Greetings!
I just met two really cute guys (hey, that got your attention!) They were plowing the parking lot across the street and I played damsel in distress. Surprisingly, it worked. They came over and cleared the street in front of our shop. They refused payment - so I gave them each a pair of earrings for "the woman in their life." Their company is Landmark Outdoor Services - I'm going to call them about treating our lawn next year.
Now on to the really important stuff. Yes, we are having a year-end clearance sale. You don't think we really want to count all this stuff during our annual inventory, do you? AND, we are open New Year's Day. Leave the football nuts at home in front of the tube and join us for a really beady good time.
I'm still having a hard time getting my mind around 2010. Yikes, I can remember reading Orwell's 1984 and thinking it was way, way in the future. I saw 2001: A Space Odyssey and thought it was too far in the future to even contemplate. What happened?
Well, lots of really good things have happened. For one thing, we've got the world's most fabulous bead shop with the world's bestest-ever customers. BTW, bestest-ever is too a real word. We are looking forward to 2010 and all the great new things we'll be doing at the Beadles!
Happy New Year,
