What's Up @ The Beadles Classes, New Beads, and More
August 2009, #1
Greetings, Fellow Beaders!

It is always a dangerous thing to make a promise. Seems I promised I would get photos of our classes in a newsletter this week. Hmmm. AND, I made that same promise to more than one person so I can't weasel out with some claim of miscommunication.

So here are some of the photos. No, I didn't get all the photos taken. And, yes, it looks like I was still moving when I took some of the photos.  My apologies. I'll try to do better in the future.

One of the classes is this evening (Thursday). Nothing like short notice. It is the Vavavoom (wire crochet) necklace and we will be offering it again. I can see all sorts of possibilities. Bride's necklace (white pearls and crystals on sterling wire), Christmas necklaces, charm necklaces - all kinds of fun.

We've also got the copper charm class this Saturday morning. It is a wonderful project with all kinds of possible uses. It definitely could help with inexpensive gifts for the holidays.

Also on Saturday morning is the basic earring class. If you've been wanting to learn how to make wrapped loops - please take this class. It's the best way to conquer that tricky technique.

Hope to see you soon,
Teresa

Vavavoom Joke
Somewhere in this Black Hole is the image of our Vavavoom necklace. The computer got the last laugh! So I will take another photo soon & hope it turns out better! Truly, I have no idea what's going on. It shows up fine in the computer file. Hmmm.
Staffing News

We're very sorry to announce that Amanda Webb will be leaving us shortly. She's moving to Memphis to be near family while she goes back to school. While we're very happy about that last part, we are going to miss her creativity and energy!

Yes, we are hiring. Thursday evenings and Saturdays are a requirement. Unfortunately we don't sit around and bead, and, it is a surprisingly physically demanding job. BUT, we do try to have fun and there is almost always chocolate. Let us know if you are interested.

And, don't forget that we are always on the lookout for talented, enthusiastic instructors.
Really Good Deal Table (RGDT)

We're making room for new inventory by moving older merchandise to the RGDT. Items are added daily. Strands are 30% off, loose beads are 50%. And, there are some really cool deals to be had. We accidentally reordered one of the texturing hammers and ended up with way too many. So we've got that one on the table at 30% off.

Also on the table is a a lovely handbag with a beaded strap. We're giving it away at the end of the month. For every $10 purchase in merchandise from the RGDT you get an entry in the drawing.
