The necklace design contest was incredible. We got ten entries that showed off the talents of our beady customers.
Every entry had their fans - it was fun listening to the comments as people voted. The voting was close but we ended up with three awesome winners:

Everyone who participated did a great job and we thank you for your participation.

Here We Come!
I'm leaving early tomorrow (Tuesday) morning for Portland, Oregon, and Tacoma, Washington. I'm definitely looking forward to temperatures 15 to 20 degrees cooler! But why else am I heading that way? Well, to go to the Puget Sound Bead Festival for one thing.
Our class coordinator, Madeline, and I going to take classes on metal work: stamping, riveting, folding, texturing, enameling, etching, and more. Oh, yeah, I've also got a resins class scheduled.
There are a number of bead vendors in the area that we will simply have to check out. Oh, the sacrifice! |
