USL Goes Mobile!


This summer, United Soccer Leagues (USL) and Demosphere launched a new mobile scores and standings page easily accessible from a mobile phone. Just type mobile.uslsoccer.com into your web-enabled phone, and see recent scores and division standings for all of USL's senior divisions, while on the go!  Stay tuned for more information this Fall on how to add this great functionality to your league or tournament.
Demosphere Adds Another Support Mechanism

Over the last several months, you may have seen more of Demosphere's presence in the social media arena.  This has included our Facebook page, where we are happy to report over 150 fans now, as well as our Twitter (@demosphere) presence that now has 85 regular followers.

We have now introduced another avenue for a direct connection to Demosphere.  On Twitter you can follow our Support Department from @diisupport.  With updates on current system statuses, we will also use @diisupport to provide real-time updates about any system maintenance issues. 

Excellent customer service is our primary focus, and this new tool will be invaluable when there is a need for rapid communication with our clients.

Maximize Demosphere!
Maximize DemosphereJoin us for our monthly Maximize Demosphere webcast on Wednesday, August 19 at 1:00p EDT.

This month's Maximize Demosphere is a Tournament Application Tutorial. During this session, we'll discuss the Tournament Application process and how best to customize, post, and distribute information about your Tournament.

The session will last approximately 45 minutes and will be accessible via web conference. Please RSVP here and the login instructions will be emailed before the session.

The award ceremony held in London on July 9th included speakers and panelists from the worlds of business, politics and sports. Sir Tony Blair, Desmond Tutu (pictured right with Nick Gates), Michael Johnson and Ian Thorpe spoke passionately about the Power of Sport in making social change.

New Staff Member - Zach Yost
Large BarDemosphere is pleased to announce the newest staff member to join the Demosphere family!

Zach Yost was born and raised right near Demosphere House, where he grew up playing Division 1 NCSL soccer for McLean Youth Soccer.  After graduating from East Carolina University, Zach immediately jumped into Web Services Sales. 

Not only does Zach bring four years of prior industry sales experience, he is also an avid soccer fan, and plays in the Northern Virginia Soccer League. Zach can also be found on the softball field, the basketball court, and at local indoor sports facilities.  We welcome Zach and all his job-related experience to the Demosphere Sales Team!
Demosphere-On-The-Go!
Large BarDemosphere traveled to the U.S. Soccer Federation's "Development Academy Finals Week & AGM" in Los Angeles July 16-18. The event was the culmination of the elite national league's 2008-2009 season, and the official start of the 2009-2010 season.

In addition to watching the finals in both the U-15/16 and U-17/18 age groups and meeting with over 20 customers, Demosphere presented a session to club administrators on player registration topics.

Look for Demosphere at the following events in the coming weeks:
