U.S. Soccer Development Academy Registers with Demosphere

 Demosphere announced a partnership with the United States Soccer Federation to handle their online registration and scheduling tools for the U.S. Soccer Development Academy, a revolutionary youth development program started in 2007.
The system allows administrators from each of the 74 clubs involved in the Academy the ability to register their players online, while also enabling U.S. Soccer staff the ability to maintain the nine-month schedule and other features geared toward the player development focused Academy.
"With such a massive number of players and games involved in the Development Academy, having Demosphere as a partner is a huge benefit for U.S. Soccer," said U.S. Soccer Senior Manager of Communications Neil Buethe.
The system, accessible at USSDA.demosphere.com, will register 3,500 players and schedule over 1,500 games for the 2008-2009 season. It will also aid in facilitating the player development goals of the Academy by allowing each player to update a player profile complete with a biography, statistics, and training metrics taken during the season.
