Tip of the Month

Are your organization members receiving your email messages?
In today's world of spammers and unsolicited email, it is difficult to cut through the hundreds of messages we receive to identify the good from the bad. Most email applications (e.g., Outlook, Eudora, Hotmail, etc.) have built in functionality to assist us with this daunting task. These anti-spam tools can sometimes block messages which should have been delivered.
The following tips may help you in delivery of your organization's important messages:
- Encourage your membership to add the email address from which you send messages to their "Safe List". This is also know as "Safe Sender List", "Whitelist" or "Approved List".
- For communication to registered members of your organization, remind them they are receiving your messages as a registered member or user.
- Be careful not to send truely unsolicited messages with advertising. Email service providers have made it very easy for users to click the "Report as Spam" button. Being reported can hurt your ability to send future messages.
To assist with this, Demosphere will be implementing new functionality for all of our products that have email broadcast capabilities. We are also working with many of the industry's major Internet Services Providers to take extra steps to make sure your messages are delivered. |

The 2007 US Youth Soccer
adidas Workshop and Coaches Convention was held from March 1-3, 2007, at the
America's Center in St. Louis, MO, and Demosphere was there.
On Saturday at 2 P.M. central time, our very own Ashley Tate drew Stacie Schneider as the winner of a new iPod nano Special Edition. Her name was drawn from over 300 entries. Stacie works for both Baton Rouge Soccer and Louisiana Soccer Association, so we wish her the best with her new iPod!
At left, Stacie poses with her new toy with Demosphere COO, Ben Jones.
