British Airways cabin staff have voted to take strike action over the Christmas & New Year period - with disruption beginning 22 December and running until 02 January.
Cabin crew voted by nine to one in favour of the strike action, with more than an 80% turnout.
British Airways are currently reworking their flight schedules for the strike period and aim to announce them as quickly as possible.
The Airline has not yet issued detailed guidelines for those affected other than to state that those customers who are booked to travel between 22 December 2009 & 2 January 2010, and, for 48 hours on either side of these dates, who would like to take their flight at a different time can change to another BA flight departing in the next twelve months at no charge.
If a customer's flight is cancelled, because of industrial action, they will offer the option to refund the ticket, rebook on to a different BA flight or reroute their journey on another BA flight.
If you are booked on British Airways during this time we will provide you with the options open to you as soon as we are advised if your flight is affected.
