A new school year is right around the corner which means it's a good time to double check immunization records and confirm annual physicals are up to date. And if your child has been staying up late to watch the Olympics, it's time to start thinking about getting them back on their typical school-year sleep schedule so they start the new school year well rested and ready to learn. Here's hoping there's plenty of summer fun left in the month ahead!

Patient Profile: The 5k - Donte's Way

Donte Donte Lindsay is an amazing 17 year old young man who spent more than 3.5 months at Franciscan Hospital for Children, being treated for Cerebral Palsy, left sided weakness and chronic pain issues. Donte has made amazing strides, progressing from wheelchair bound to finishing the Franciscan Hospital for Children 5K on June 9. We wanted to know what motivated him to take on this challenge.
