For some, the best room at the Jam is the one without walls. We're happy to announce that the resurfaced roof deck has re-opened. We've also added a screen door and an all-weather "stepdown" to keep your feet dry. Please help keep the roof area nice by putting your cigarette butts in the handy ash can, and throwing out your garbage in the appropriate receptacles.
Although it's a bit premature to start taking reservations, it now looks like our new Studio 4 will open before the end of September. We'll let you know exactly when as we get closer. In the meantime, gear for Studio 4 has already started to arrive. Everybody loves new gear.

Please note that invitations to play in Jam Showcases are made to specific bands for specific time slots. You may not transfer the invite to another band, trade your timeslot with another group, or redeem the offer for cash. I'm just saying.

Education
|
It's almost Back To School time, so we thought we'd add several instructional programs in late September/early October: A Vocal Workshop (courtesy of our dear friends at Liz Caplan Vocal Studios) and a Hand Drumming Workshop (with the wonderful Michael Markus). We usually set up these kinds of events by popular demand, so if you're looking for something else, just ask. If there's enough interest, we'll make it happen.
