The Results Are In! You GaveBIG.

TAF Academy students

The Seattle Foundation’s GiveBIG event has only been going on for two years, but that doesn’t diminish the fact that this was a record-breaking year for TAF. Our supporters gave MORE THAN 5 TIMES the amount we received last year during the event, for a total of more than 33 thousand dollars. And that’s before we count the $10k match from TAF supporter Judy Drake, or the anonymous 1:1 match from another TAF donor, or even the match from The Seattle Foundation’s stretch pool. Thank you for donating and for spreading the word about TAF’s impact on public education.

Let their Abilities Astound You!

TechStart students

The year’s passed as quickly as every year does, but this time we have some very special celebrations to mark it by. The TechStart Expo will be bigger than ever, with more than 300 students participating in robotics competitions, a science fair and more. That’ll be on June 9th at South Seattle Community College. The night before, TAF Academy will release its first class of graduating seniors into the world at a ceremony in Tacoma. Don't miss it!
