Notes from Trish's Desk March 18, 2010

Greetings!
The results of this year's Leadership Breakfast continue to amaze me. Much energy in the room came from the inspirational words of our students and our guest speaker Eric Liu. Eric talked a lot about the power of imagination and thinking big to create significant change in our world.
If you were not there with us, I don't want you to have to imagine what it was like. And having me summarize it just wouldn't be the same.
Next week, we'll be posting a video feed from the Leadership Breakfast. You will hear what our students and Eric had to say. When it's ready, you can view it on the TAF MediaLab.
To give you a preview, we just posted some pictures of the event and the video I introduced during the program.
In the video, TAF students and teachers give their own take on the kinds of investments that make TechStart and TAF Academy invaluable. I'm amazed at how easily our young students are able to articulate what I could only imagine before I started TAF.

Meet the TAF Academy Ambassadors | Finally, I want to thank the individuals who took me up on the challenge to think big and help us transform public education with the How Far Would You Go? campaign.
We already have 18 team captains building their own movement in public education! They have each pledged to support at least one TAF student with the power of their own networks.
We're looking for more team captains to join these dedicated supporters and show their commitment by raising funds and awareness of TAF. Click on one of the links below to:
Thanks for listening,
