Greetings!
Today is a great day for TAF students. The 9th Annual Leadership Breakfast ended just a few hours ago, and I am pleased to tell you that we raised $100,235!
To everyone in the community who came together to support our kids this morning, I say "Thank you!" It felt like everyone left the Sheraton full of energy and hope for the next generation of innovators and leaders. Some of you are probably wondering what to do with all that inspiration. (Photos and video will be posted to TAF MediaLab shortly)
I have the perfect solution.
Whether you attended the Leadership Breakfast or not, I have another opportunity to turn your passion for TAF's work into support for our students.
Start by asking yourself one of the questions I posed to our guests this morning: How far would you go to build a new movement that makes public education work for students of color? How far would you go to give all students the skills and resources they need to be the next generation of STEM professionals?
How Far Would You Go? is an online event designed for TAF supporters who want a personal way to transform education.
[side note: As excited as we are about this opportunity, our telecom provider isn't on the same page. Our internet connection has been down since this morning, so please be patient if you're trying to check out our website]
Here's how it works:
- LEARN what it takes to support a TAF student.
- LEAD your own movement as a Team Captain.
- GIVE essential skills and resources to the next generation of STEM professionals.
Whether you are at the center of a huge community or connected to the world through a few close friends, you and your network can have a huge impact on the next generation of leaders and innovators.
How Far Would You Go?
March 10 - April 18
Sign up today to be a Team Captain and join TAF at the forefront of a new movement to transform public education.
