Small Works: Miniatures by Hampton Roads Artists

October 23- December 4, 2011

Over 187 artists from throughout Hampton Roads

will participate in this group invitational exhibition

featuring more than 503 pieces in all media.

Two dimensional artists were challenged to create

art works less than 20 square inches,

while three dimensional works must fit

within a 4.5 inch cube.

Gallery Manager, James Warwick Jones

served as Curator for the exhibition

and selected non-monetary awards of First, Second

and Third Place, eight Awards of Merit by

media and ten Honorable Mentions.

By virtue of the numbers of artists and art works,

ironically, despite their small size,

this may be one of the largest gallery

exhibitions ever held in Hampton Roads.
