The City of Leon Valley Economic Development Corporation (LVEDC) Board of Directors has three positions that are up for appointment by September 30, 2012.
In keeping with the Leon Valley City Council's original vision and intent that the LVEDC have staggered board terms, in September 2011, the City Council took action on an ordinance assigning place numbers to each of the positions to achieve staggered appointments.
The City Council has subsequently made the appointments on the recommendation of the LVEDC Board of Directors.
LVEDC Board Positions 2, 4, and 6 are up for appointment by September 30. Persons interested in being considered for service must complete an application form and return it with a resume to the attention of Ms. Claudia Mora, Leon Valley Economic Development Director, by September 12, in order for the information to be included in the City Council agenda packet of information developed for the September 18 City Council Meeting.

The Fiscal Year 2013 Proposed LVEDC Budget is set to be considered for adoption by the Leon Valley City Council at its September 18, 2012 Regular City Council Meeting, 7 p.m., Leon Valley City Council Chambers.
The LVEDC and the Leon Valley City Council have set their next Quarterly Special Joint Meeting on September 18, 2012 at 5:30 p.m. in the Leon Valley City Hall, City Council Chambers.
