So what is the Bond Election all about?  Why were new facilities recommended?  Well, these are the questions to be answered by voters at the polls during the May 12, 2012 Election. 

For a first-hand look at how our City's growth is reflected in our facilities, bring your neighbors & come to the Town Hall Meeting next Saturday, April 28, at 9 a.m.

There is a short Town Hall Meeting  to discuss the upcoming Bond Election and the proposed Public Safety & Support Services Facility. 

Tour the Facility immediately after the Town Hall Meeting at 9 a.m.   The public is invited to attend and participate.

League of Women Voters to Moderate Meet the Candidates Forum

The League of Women Voters is moderating a forum to allow voters to hear candidates respond to questions and issues of concern.  The Forum is next Thursday, April 26, at 7 p.m. at the Leon Valley Conference Center located at 6421 Evers Road, Leon Valley, 78238.  The public is invited.

The Leon Valley City Council at a Special Called Meeting held on Monday, February 27, 2012, ordered a special Bond Election to be held on the next uniform election date of May 12, 2012 to allow the qualified voters of the City of Leon Valley to consider the following proposition ballot language:

"THE ISSUANCE OF NOT TO EXCEED $7,000,000 OF CITY OF LEON VALLEY TEXAS GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS FOR DESIGNING, ACQUIRING, CONSTRUCTING, IMPROVING, RENOVATING, DEMOLISHING, EXPANDING, AND EQUIPPING A PUBLIC SAFETY AND SUPPORT SERVICES COMPLEX."
