For those of you who are energetic and want an opportunity to walk and talk with our Mayor, now is the time to grab your most comfy shoes!
Tomorrow, Saturday, April 7 is the next Quarterly Walk and Talk with the Mayor. Meet Mayor Chris Riley at Tellez at 8:30 a.m. at 6501 Bandera Road for a walk around Seneca Estates (Seneca I).
Thursday, April 12th at 5 p.m. is the deadline for getting Voter Registration Applications or Changes to the Bexar County Voter Registrar's Office to be eligible to vote at the May 12, 2012 General and Bond Elections for the City of Leon Valley. Voter registration information may be found here!
There's still time to purchase tickets to "An Evening with Albert Einstein" which takes place at our very own Leon Valley Conference Center. Dinner is at 6:30 p.m. following by a performance at 8 p.m. by Broadway Trained Actor Duffy Hudson. Purchase tickets at the Leon Valley Public Library, 6425 Evers Road, 210-684-0720. Proceeds benefit the Building Fund for the 4,000 square foot Children's Wing Expansion.
Please invite your neighbors and come to the Town Hall Meetings on Saturday, April 14, or April 28, beginning at 9 a.m. to discuss the upcoming Bond Election and the Proposed Public Safety & Support Services Facility. Tours of the Facility will immediately follow the Town Hall Meetings at 9 a.m.
The public is cordially invited to attend and participate.

 The Leon Valley City Council at a Special Called Meeting held on Monday, February 27, 2012, ordered a Special Bond Election to be held on the next uniform election date of May 12, 2012 to allow the qualified voters of the City of Leon Valley to consider the following proposition ballot language:
"THE ISSUANCE OF NOT TO EXCEED $7,000,000 OF CITY OF LEON VALLEY TEXAS GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS FOR DESIGNING, ACQUIRING, CONSTRUCTING, IMPROVING, RENOVATING, DEMOLISHING, EXPANDING, AND EQUIPPING A PUBLIC SAFETY AND SUPPORT SERVICES COMPLEX."
