Greetings!
 The Leon Valley City Council at a Special Called Meeting held on Monday, February 27, 2012, ordered a Special Bond Election to be held on the next uniform election date of May 12, 2012 to allow the qualified voters of the City of Leon Valley to consider the following proposition ballot language:
"THE ISSUANCE OF NOT TO EXCEED $7,000,000 OF CITY OF LEON VALLEY TEXAS GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS FOR DESIGNING, ACQUIRING, CONSTRUCTING, IMPROVING, RENOVATING, DEMOLISHING, EXPANDING, AND EQUIPPING A PUBLIC SAFETY AND SUPPORT SERVICES COMPLEX."

City Council Orders General Election to be Held on
May 12, 2012
The Leon Valley City Council at a Special Meeting held on Monday, February 27, 2012, called a General Election to be held on May 12, 2012, for the purpose of electing a Mayor, Council Place 2, and Council Place 4.
The period for signing up to run for one of these offices ends on Monday, March 5, at 5 p.m. The drawing to determine the Order of Names on the Ballot is Monday, March 5 at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at Leon Valley City Hall located at 6400 El Verde Road, Leon Valley, 78238.
