Because quality is so important to us at the City of Leon Valley, we're sending this revised message and content.
One of the joys of working with new technologies is the opportunity to communicate in new ways using innovative software and technologically-advanced delivery systems. One of the challenges is minimizing the risk that comes with what are called 'unintended consequences of technology'. Sometimes the challenge comes in the form of software which doesn't always translate well on a format-to-format basis with other receiving electronic mail systems.

Next City Council Meeting
The next City Council Meeting is on Monday, February 27, 2012, at 7 p.m. at City Hall, 6400 El Verde Road. This is a Special City Council Meeting to allow the City Council to consider calling two elections. The first agenda item is to consider calling or ordering the May 12, 2012 General Election for the City Council places of Mayor, Places 2 and 4.
The second and third agenda items are related to consider calling or ordering a Special Bond Election. A copy of the posted agenda is included in today's ENews.
The City Council encourages your participation and input. Look for the entire agenda packet on-line at: www.leonvalleytexas.gov.

City Council General Election Coming in May
The period for signing up to run for City Council continues and ends on Monday, March 5, at 5 p.m.
March 5 at 5 p.m. is the date and time by which candidates must sign up to have their name appear on the ballot or to declare their intention to file as a write-in candidate.
The drawing to determine the order of names on the ballot is Monday, March 5, at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, 6400 El Verde Road, Leon Valley, 78238.
The following offices are up for election on the May 12, 2012 General Election Ballot: Mayor, Council Place No. 2, and Council Place No. 4. Interested individuals may contact the City Secretary at (210) 684-1391, Ext. 216 for more information.
