Snapped Veneer

Last summer, Table Rock Quarries was selected as the natural stone supplier for the new building planned for Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Forest City, NC. The challenge was to provide a lightweight, affordable stone that would present an overall appearance similar to that of the massive cathedrals of Europe. After some consideration, the owner settled on Chocolate Gray Snapped Veneer.

Chocolate Gray Snapped Veneer

The procedures used to produce Snapped Veneer yields a roughly rectangular stone in a thin veneer thickness (1 1/4" +/- 1/2"). This provides for a cost-effective alternative to building stone on projects where weight is a limiting factor.
