Testimonial
TIUFTT and PING have a partnership to get golf clubs into the hands of Wounded Warriors to use during their continued recovery. Listed below is a testimonial from one of our golf club recipients. "I never played golf before as I was a farm boy from Indiana, but after my injuries from Iraq TIUFTT set me up with clubs and lessons. Since June 15th I have been playing and practicing every day. After playing less than a month I'm hitting a hybrid over 200 yards, I've played in my first golf tournament, and have broke 100. Those aren't my biggest accomplishments though as 4 months ago I almost ended my life due to PTSD and family issues. Thanks to TIUFTT and golf I have learned how to calm down and better manage my PTSD. You guys have saved my life and my marriage. Thank you!!!!!" ~ Joel Hunt, Wounded Warrior Here is a note from the Golf Pro in Colorado that has been helping Joel Hunt. "I just wanted to update you and let you know how Joel is doing. Since getting his clubs, he has practiced almost every day when he is not traveling. He is doing UNBELIEVABLY well! I took him out on our par 3 course and he made 2 legitimate pars and can hit the ball as far as I can when he connects."

Operation Never Forgotten
Operation Never Forgotten (ONF) has created a special event for volunteers, communities and other military support organizations to come together to help heal wounded warriors through new outdoor adventures, challenges, passions and comradeship. To date, over 47,316 Veterans who served in Iraq or Afghanistan have been wounded in action.
On July 20th, 2012 Tee it up for the Troops was proud to be a premier sponsor of the Sports, Afield, and Stream (SAS) event held in Montana. This event brings wounded warriors with physical injuries, post-traumatic stress disorder, mild traumatic brain injury, and survivor's guilt together to participate in a number of healing and inspirational activities such as inspiring speakers, celebrities, a stand-up comedian, Big Sky Lift Rides, Zip-Lining, Archery, Mountain Biking, Dax Rope Skipping, Mountain Hiking, and more. For more information about this year's event, please visit their website at www.sasproject.org. Additional photos from this year's event are posted below.

Kappa Sigma Partnership
Tee it up for the Troops (TIUFTT) has partnered With the Kappa Sigma Fraternity to help provide volunteers and support various TIUFTT's golf tournaments and other events. Kappa Sigma Fraternity was founded on December 10th, 1869 at the University of Virginia and currently has over 300 chapters and colonies in the United States and Canada. Kappa Sigma is one of the five largest fraternities with over 255,000 initiates and over 15,000 undergraduate members. Kappa Sigma has four pillars they strive to achieve at every chapter: Fellowship, Leadership, Scholarship, Service. The "Greater Cause" Initiative that Kappa Sigma has in place for their community service efforts generated over $2,800,000 and 859,000 man hours of community service to local and national charities around the country over the past two years. One of those charities that Kappa Sigma has supported for many years is the Fisher House Foundation, which Kappa Sigma helped build a house in the DC area for our military families.
